Deepcool Aeolus Big Frost Presentation

Deepcool Industries, a renowned manufacturer of cooling systems, has officially announced the launch of its new dual-tower processor cooler Aeolus Big Frost. The prototype of this model has been already presented at Computex 2012 and is currently released as a ready-made product. This model is compatible with practically all CPU types available in the market from Intel and AMD manufacturers. In addition, it is able to support FM2/FM1 platform.

Deepcool Aeolus Big Frost is a simplified version of Assassin series. Despite this fact, the new cooler preserves the framework standards with dual-section radiators. Aeolus Big Frost has got copper base which is equipped with six U-shaped heat pipes (6 mm each pipe). Those pipes are pierced by a large number of aluminum plates.

The radiators are cooled down by 120 mm fans; the rotation speed of the first fan is able to achieve 1300 rpm, while the speed of the second fan fluctuates between 900 to 1500 rpm. The noise level also …

Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB Gold Power Modules Feature a Lighted Fan

The Thermaltake Company has announced its new power supply units series, called Toughpower Grand RGB Gold. It is represented by three models, featuring the capacity of 650, 750 and 850 W.

Lighting is one of the peculiarities of these products. In this case a 140 mm Riing 14 fan, intended for cooling power supply units, is lighted. It’s worth noting, that at low load the fan stops operating.

The novelties feature an entirely modular hookup of cables construction and a low fluctuation level, which doesn’t exceed 30 mV. They are equipped with Japanese capacitors of high quality and possess an 80 Plus Gold Certificate.

The dimensions of these models are the following: 150 х 86 х 160 mm. MTBF value is claimed to be 120,000 hrs.

The price of the power supply units lies in the range of $90–120.

Gigabyte Launches GTX 980 WaterForce 3-Way SLI Set

On the decline of 2014 Gigabyte decided to gladden its North American customers with a unique solution – the GeForce GTX 980 WaterForce 3-Way SLI. This is an extreme set of three factory overclocked graphics cards (1228 MHz/1329 MHz clock frequencies) combined with a powerful liquid-cooling system. Each GPU features 4 GB of GDDR5 memory, providing for the best visual experience. Enthusiasts might already acquire this extraordinary kit for the price tag of $2999.99.

The enclosed liquid-cooler is housed in a massive case that is installed over the system case. It consists of three heatsinks combined with pumps, and three 120 mm fans. In order to enable the system, the user needs to involve a single bay for 5.25-inch drives. On their part, the GPUs are equipped with independent full-cover water pumps; the latter are able to cool not only GPUs but VRAM circuitry as well.

To continue, this liquid cooler boasts the availability of OLED display. It designates temperature of GPU …
