Greeting Deepcool Wave Mini-Tower Case

Deepcool Industries Co. Ltd., a renowned Chinese developer of PC cooling solutions, is about to launch another top-notch chassis, codenamed Wave. This mini-tower model, featuring 387x175x353.5 mm dimensions, is supposed to accommodate micro-ATX systems. Despite a sleek design and enhanced functionality, entry-level customers will be able to acquire the new-comer for some $30-40.

Deepcool Wave is housed in a steel chassis (0.5 mm SECC) with plastic details. Its internal layout is predestined for two 5.25-inch drives, a triple of 3.5-inch drives and the same number of 2.5-inch drives. Expansion facilities are ensured by means of four PCI slots. There is enough space for the installation of 145-mm-high CPU cooler, 320-mm-long graphics cards, and ATX-compatible power supply unit.

Next year TSMC will start manufacturing the first 20nm chips

The Taiwanese company TSMC confirmed its intention to start production of chips using 20 nm technological processes in 2013. However, for now the company does not plan its production on an industrial scale and will release the first chips in a limited quantities, giving them a total of 1% of production capacity. According to the head of the company, the mass production of semiconductor chips with this technology will not begin until 2014.

Meanwhile TSMC Company is going to produce only one version of the chip, which will be able to enter into the wide range of devices, from smart phones with low-power to high-performance graphics cards. For comparison, the Taiwanese company currently has four different output chips on 28-nm technology. NEC is going to release one more 24-inch PC monitor but this time with the support for an Ultra HD 4K resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. Entitled MultiSync LCD-EA244UHD-BK, it is characterized by an outstanding visual performance and by a relatively high price tag (approximately $2900). The model doesn’t feature a unique design, however it does have a lot to offer to all potential viewers.

NEC LCD-EA244UHD-BK employs an updated IPS panel, equipped with GB-R backlight. The latter ensures a wider color gamut than traditional W-LED analogues. The panel is specified by 6 ms response time, widest viewing angles (178/178 degrees H/V), 350 cd/m2 brightness, and 1000:1 static contrast. Two in-built speakers (1 W each) provide for a high-quality audio production.
