Evga, one of the leaders in the US market of enthusiast graphics solutions, bedazzled its fans with another videocard, based on GeForce GTX 980 Ti GPU. The GeForce GTX 980 Ti Classified ACX 2.0+ features 150.88x279.4 mm + dual-slot width dimensions. For a better efficiency, it requires a rather mighty PSU (not less than 600 W); the connection to the power supply is organized via two 8-pin PCI Express connectors.

Asus has officially introduced a new add-on to the GTX 780 graphics cards series – the ROG Poseidon GTX 780 (codename: Poseidon-GTX780-P-3GD5). The new-comer is initially differentiated by the incorporation of a hybrid DirectCU H2O cooling system, as well as of prime-quality components. The heart of the model is Nvidia GK110 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores. It operates at 1006 MHz. the GPU is accompanied by 3 GB of GDDR5 memory (384-bit bus), running at 1502 MHz (6008 MHz – efficient).

Spire Showcases New Cylinder-Shaped Swirl IV CPU Cooler

Spire is going to release a new extraordinary cooling solution: a cylinder-shaped CPU cooler, entitled Swirl IV. It is targeting Intel processors for Socket 2011/1366/115x/775 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM2/AM3 platforms with the maximum TDP level of 130 W. The new-comer has received RoHS and CE certification that proves its environmentally-friendly nature. An official release is postponed to January 2015.

Spire Swirl IV features 131x125x62 mm dimensions and weighs 690 g. Its heatsink consists of 45 aluminum fins, pierced by three copper zinc-plated U-shaped heatpipes (8 mm).
