Asus Intros GTX 950 Mini Videocard for Gaming Purposes

Asus has replenished its portfolio of graphics cards with a mini-item, GeForce GTX 950 Mini, targeting Mini-ITX systems. It features 172x112 mm dimensions to fit any PC chassis. Despite small size, the model is ready to cope with all modern Full HD gaming applications. As distinct from full-blown adapters, this item doesn’t require an additional 6-pin PCIe connector, since its power consumption level is reduced to 75 W.

Asus GeForce GTX 950 Mini takes Nvidia GM206-250 GPU as the core. It entails 768 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs and 48 TMUs. As distinct from the etalon model, the new-comer boasts overclocked frequency index: 1051 MHz (base) & ‘OC’ mode 1228 MHz (dynamic).

The integrated GPU is mated with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory (128-bit interface). It operates at 1652 MHz/6608 MHz frequency. Memory allows for 105.73 Gb/sec bandwidth. The videocard comes equipped with three different video ports: HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and DVI-I.

Intel to Release Celeron Ivy Bridge Processors in 2013

CPUs designed under 22 nm technological process are present practically in all Intel product lines but for Intel Celeron and Intel Atom series. Dutch manufacturer of discrete graphics Point of View considered as a good idea to equip one of the top-end versions GeForce GTX 680 with the prefix UltraCharged with four gigabytes of memory. This graphic card can be a good alternative to existing POV / TGT GTX 680 UltraCharged with 2GB buffer.
