Meet New Super Cooler PH-TC12DX from Phanteks

Phanteks decided to amaze the public by releasing a new high-performance cooler PH-TC12DX that is able to cope with practically any up-to-date CPU from Intel or AMD. The sales campaign has started from the USA market where the model goes at $55-$60; the price depends on the color version: coolers with black fan impellers and heatsinks go at $55, while models with red, blue or write components cost $60.

Phanteks PH-TC12DX features tower-like framework. Its construction consists of two heatsink blocks, four U-shape heat pipes that pierce those blocks, and two voluminous 120 mm fans which are located on both sides of aluminum heatsink blocks. The latter are designed with an unusual shape of impellers, known as Maelstrom Vortex Booster (MVB). This cooler is equipped with PWM controller that monitors and regulates fan rotational speed; thus, the speed might be adjusted to the minimal 600 RPM and to the maximal 1800 RPM.

Review and testing of coolers GlacialTech Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM

The company GlacialTech Inc. known as a producer of cheap cooling systems aimed primarily at the lower and medium price segment. They are intended solely to cool the non-overclocked CPU. At the same time, GlacialTech has already made attempts to produce more efficient coolers that can cope with cooling of processors with high heat. It was the Siberia and Alaska, and F101 even before. Developing on its trend, the company has recently released two new models aimed at the medium price segment. It is about Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM.

Both coolers are available in the same decorated cardboard boxes, each on the right side shows the pictures of coolers and a list of supported platforms. On the other side of packaging there are specifications and key features of cooling systems. Packaging for both models are the same: it includes a steel universal clamping plate (backplate) with an adhesive base, two pairs of mounting with screws and key, two pairs of wire staples for installation …

Scythe Launches One More Chassis with Austere Design

Many customers know Scythe primarily for its delivery of high-end coolers. Nevertheless, the company is gradually extending its assortment by other PC components. Thus, it decided to launch a new brand PC chassis, codenamed Case by Case 3, that will be distributed initially on the internal market. The model is developed in mid-tower form-factor and features classical austere design. Steel casing is totally painted black (from the inside and outside).

Case by Case 3 is able to accommodate motherboards of ATX and micro-ATX standard. As it was mentioned before, the chassis is characterized by austerity in design and absence of any ornamental elements or distracting insertions in framework. The latter features some dedicated accessories for the screwless drive installation.

Internal layout is also estimated for the integration of power supply units of ATX format, four bays for 5.25-inch drives, seven slots for 3.5-inch hard drives or 2.5-inch SSDs. Additionally, the casing …
