Xigmatek Intros New CPU Cooler Gaia II

Xigmatek, an outstanding manufacturer of cutting-edge PC components, announces the release of a new CPU cooler, entitled Gaia II. The model is developed in accordance with a traditional tower-like framework and might be truly called a universal cooling solution. It supports a large variety of platforms for processors with TDP level of not higher than 150 W: Intel Socket LGA 775/1366/1156 and AMD Socket AM2(+)/AM3(+)/FM2/FM1.

Cooler Gaia II is designed with the direct implementation of H.D.T. technology (Heat Pipe Direct Touch). This implies that all three copper heatpipes, which stem from the heatsink base, come into direct contact with the CPU surface. The heatpipes themselves have got U-shape structure and 8 mm dimensions. They pierce ‘multi-plate’ aluminum heatsink to provide for a better heat dissipation.

The model is delivered with a pre-installed 120 mm fan with bright orange blades; it is fixed to one of the heatsink sides and housed in a black frame. The fan is …

ID-Cooling Hunter Duet II Liquid Cooling System

ID-Cooling, being famous for its cooling systems, has released a Hunter Duet II cooler of large dimensions, which is supposed to transfer heat from the CPU and the graphics engine surfaces. This model is designed with a 360 mm heat sink, which is of great benefit to its efficiency factor.

The construction includes two water units with a base out of copper and built-in pumps, pipes in braided cable, the three-section aluminum 395 × 120 × 27 mm heat sink, three 120 mm fans, and an extraordinary framework with a 90 mm fan to blow over graphics card load-bearing elements and intensive plates for the CPU and GPU.

Though possessing similar construction, water units differ in lids design and the location of holes for liquid flow. At the moment their inner structure details are not available.

A compact fan to blow over VRM consumes 1.2 W. Its rotary speed is not higher than 1,500 rpm. The same ratio of each of the three main fans is not supposed to exceed 1,500–2,000 rpm.

AS Enclosure RS04 – a New Compact PC Case from Abee

The fact of growing popularity of compact PC systems is not a bit of news by itself, however the emerging of a fresh space effective Abee chassis solution is.

The Japanese company has presented its brand-new AS Enclosure RS04 desktop case, which will be available in 6 colour versions (black, silver, pink, bright green, sky blue and chocolate brown). The front panel is made out of 5 mm and upper and bottom panels – out of 2 mm high-quality aluminium. The inner framework is steel and meant for Mini-ITX boards.

Abee AS Encolsure RS04 allows to install four 2.5-inch drives, an SFX power supply, the CPU cooling system of up to 78 mm height and an entry-level graphics adapter (for instance, Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti OC), the length of which must not exceed 190 mm. This chassis is well cooled down due to the efficient allocation of vent holes.

The specialty is 105 mm in height, 357 mm in width and 239 mm in length and weighs 3.1 kg. The AS Encolsure RS04 model is not cheap and …
