Acer Unleashes New Aspire All-in-One PCs

Promoted at Computex 2012 global technical exhibition, Acer Aspire 5600U and 7600U PCs have finally been launched. The models supplemented the series of Acer's all-in-one solutions and offered a number of unmatched opportunities for customers. Among others, Aspire 5600U and Aspire 7600U computers are distinguished by an adjustable stand that doesn't have any mind-bending gismos. One should take into account that the newly launched products feature both similar and dissimilar characteristics.

First of all, these all-in-one PCs operate under the instruction of Windows 8 platform. They are equipped with 8GB DRAM of DDR3 type, hard drive of 1TB volume capacity, an integrated card reader, and a couple of USB 3.0 ports. Network facilities are realized via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.

Spire Launches Ridge 6601 and Ridge 6602 PC Chassis

Spire has officially launched a new line of budgetary PC chassis, codenamed Spire Ridge. At the moment, there are only two models within the series – the Ridge 6601 and the Ridge 6602. Both are characterized by the support for ATX motherboards and have many other identical specifications: i.e. mid-tower form-factor, 192x415x418 mm dimensions. Still, there are some differentiations as well.

The first distinction between the two models lies in the frontal panel design. Therefore, Ridge 6601 features a laconic panel made of plastic without additional ventilation. In its turn, Ridge 6602 features a half-perforated metallic frontal panel that allows for a more intense cooling of internal components.

Arctic Releases Cooling System for AMD Graphic Adapters

Swiss manufacturer of cooling systems, Arctic Cooling, has recently released a new cooler developed specifically for graphic adapters from AMD. Earlier this year the company launched the cooling system which is compatible with graphic adapters from Nvidia developers. The new product, codenamed Accelero Hybrid 7970, distinguishes from its predecessor also by the foot of water block which is upgraded to be compatible with AMD HD 7900 series.

Cooling system Accelero Hybrid 7970 consists of two parts which boast as air, so water cooling standards. It is able to manage up to 320W of hot air. The water block is cooled down by the 120 mm fan which is able to achieve the speed in the measures of 400-1350 rpm. The block, that is installed on the board, is equipped with 80 mm fan and is able to achieve from 900 to 2000 rpm speed. The noise level is dwindled down to the minimal index.
