Graphics Card MSI N650 Ti PE 1GD5/OC Review

PC hardware of average price category is traditionally in demand with a wide range of customers. Graphics cards are not exception, especially if the manufacturers offer truly outstanding facilities for comparatively medium price. The launch of GeForce GTX 650 Ti adapter raised an army of graphics solutions based on it; still, each company tries to deviate in some terms from the reference model. Thus, MSI introduced N650 Ti Power Edition 1GD5/OC model which takes GTX 650 Ti adapter as the basis, but employs fundamentally original printed circuit board and cooling system.

Integration

Graphics card MSI N650 Ti PE 1GD5/OC features all attributes ascribed to Power Edition series. Printed circuit board has been elongated to 230 mm, as compared to the 154 mm in reference GeForce GTX 650 models. Along with the PCB elongation, MSI implemented a reinforced 5-phase VRM scheme (4+1) that is intended at operational intensification on heightened frequencies. The connection of additional …

Biostar Unveils A68N-2100 Motherboard for Budget-Oriented Customers

Biostar Microtech has gladdened its budget-oriented customers by the release of a new small-sized motherboard, entitled A68N-2100. This mini-ITX model is elaborated on a two-core hybrid AMD E1-2100 APU (Jaguar core, Kabini platform) with 1 GHz clock frequency. It is accompanied by an integrated Radeon HD 8210 graphics that supports DirectX 11.1 technology. All devotees of Biostar’s innovations might acquire the item for about $50.

Biostar A68N-2100 is developed on AMD A68 chipset that supports APU passive cooling by means of a compact heatspreader. The implemented APU is characterized by low power consumption: in ordinary work conditions it consumes not more than 9 W power. The PCB accommodates two DIMM slots for DDR3 memory modules with the maximal frequencies of 1333 MHz and the ultimate capacity of 16 GB.

Expansion facilities are introduced by only one PCIe slot (2.0 x16). Storage options are realized due a pair of SATA III 6 Gb/sec ports, whereas network facilities …

Asus Adds Affordable Radeon R7 360 Video Card to Its Inventory

Asus has enriched its lineup of graphics adapters with a budget-oriented model – the Radeon R7 360 (codename: R7360-2DG5-V2). The greenhorn is based on AMD Tobago Pro GPU (28 nm), featuring 768 stream processors, 16 ROPs & 48 TMUs. The core operates at etalon 1050 MHz frequency. It is accompanied by 2 GB of GDDR5 memory (128-bit interface) which runs at 1500/6000 MHz frequency (base/efficient).

Asus Radeon R7 360 differs from the competitors’ solutions by an entirely automatic manufacturing process: Asus Auto-Extreme Technology. The card employs Super Alloy Power hardware base as well as a signature cooler. The latter consists of an aluminum heatsink & a pair of fans.

The I/O panel accommodates four video ports: HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-I & DVI-D. Power is supplied via a single 6-pin connector. It should be mentioned that all customers are free to enable invite code to World of Warships giveaway program (till the 30th of January, 2017).
