NEC Enters into the Market with a New PA302W Monitor

NEC is starting the sales of its newest PA302W PC monitor that joined the ranges of MultiSync series. The product is a 30-inch display, based on AH-IPS panel and equipped with GB-R LED backlit. It is characterized by 2560x1600 resolution, high-precision color rendering, 100% sRGB and 99.3% Adobe RGB support. The model is available in white and black colors and features an ultra-thin case (34% thinner than cases of previous models).

Monitor MultiSync PA302W boasts the availability of USB-hub with two In and three Out ports, supporting DisplaySync Pro option, and four different video ports: HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort, and mini-DisplayPort. The nominal stand provides for the adjustment of height (within the ranges of 150 mm), tilt, rotation of the display, as well as for the transferring the screen from the landscape to portrait mode. EK-FC Titan Z waterblocks are attributed to full-cover solutions. Next year TSMC will start manufacturing the first 20nm chips

The Taiwanese company TSMC confirmed its intention to start production of chips using 20 nm technological processes in 2013. However, for now the company does not plan its production on an industrial scale and will release the first chips in a limited quantities, giving them a total of 1% of production capacity. According to the head of the company, the mass production of semiconductor chips with this technology will not begin until 2014.

Meanwhile TSMC Company is going to produce only one version of the chip, which will be able to enter into the wide range of devices, from smart phones with low-power to high-performance graphics cards. For comparison, the Taiwanese company currently has four different output chips on 28-nm technology. These are 28LP (poly / SiON) for low-power low-cost chips, 28HPL (HKMG) for use in low power applications, 28HP (HKMG) for high-performance chips and 28HPM (HKMG).
