ECS Intros a Series of H81 Motherboards with Durathon Support

ECS proudly introduces a series of new motherboards, based on Intel H81 Express chipset. The series consists of three models (H81H3-A3, H81H3-M7, H81H3-I) that support Socket LGA1150 platform and are ready to work with Intel Haswell processors. All three products are developed in different form-factors: standard ATX, microATX and mini-ITX. Therefore, the users have got a chance to choose which item is more appropriate for the assembling of systems with various performance requirements.

Despite the fact that the new-comers position themselves as entry-level solutions, ECS has taken care of their reliability and stability of operation. Therein, it incorporated Durathon technology, which is responsible for the products’ eligible work during a long period of time. Durathon implies the employment of a PCB with high density in order to protect the components from the detrimental effect of moisture, the replacement of standard capacitors to solid-state analogues with prolonged …

Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 2GB GDDR5 OC and Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 4GB GDDR5 OC from PowerColor

Not to lag behind other vendors the PowerColor company has presented a couple of Radeon RX 560 video cards. We should note that these cards utilize the renamed Polaris 11 GPU with 1024 active streaming processors. At the moment such accelerators are not available on sale, however they are to hit the market by the end of the month.

Thus, PowerColor has produced the Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 2GB GDDR5 OC, alongside with the Red Dragon Radeon RX 560 4GB GDDR5 OC samples, differing in the memory volume (which is observable from their names) and in the GPU frequency. The higher model’s Boost clock equals to 1,180 MHz, and the lower model’s rate is 1,288 MHz. The effective memory in both cases operates at 7,000 MHz.

Chilling of PowerColor specialties is ensured by a cooler with big heatsink. The auxiliary power connector is absent. The interface set includes DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort (x3).
