Asus keeps on expanding its lineup of gaming monitors. This time the manufacturer introduces a 24-inch MG248Q display, based on TN panel. The latter features 16:9 aspect ratio & supports Full HD resolution (1920x1080).The new-comer is characterized by a sleek design, an ergonomic stand with several adjustment options (height, swivel, pivot) and by the possibility to employ VESA bracket for wall mounting.

The integrated within Asus MG248Q panel offers lighting-speed response time – 1 ms. The support for AMD FreeSync technology allows the monitor to dynamically change the refresh rate from 40 Hz to 144 Hz on different conditions. Asus Launches Affordable 27-Inch VP278N Monitor

Asus is well-known for introducing multiple components for various customer groups. Mainstream segment is probably the main focus of the manufacturer. This time the lineup of affordable products has been replenished by a 27-inch monitor, entitled VP278N. In order to reduce production costs, Asus has implemented TN panel with Full HD resolution, rather than the top-notch 4K IPS panel.

The integrated TN panel promotes for a striking response time index – 1 ms. The display boasts some other outstanding specifications which allow it to compete with comrades from the high-end echelon in quality. Deepcool is preparing a new cooler with heat pipes

Deepcool production company of inexpensive and quite efficient cooling systems has provided a sample of CPU cooler — Big Frost (tentative codename), which is an extension of current Frostwin model. Previous model has 4 sintered powder heatpipes, which conduct heat from the processor to protect it from overheating. Also, like a new model, it has 120mm fans.

New model has a simple design, but strict, almost «standard», forms will not prevent it from showing a decent performance. It works with less noise and performs an effective cooling. Big Frost consists of a nickel-plated copper base with a miniature auxiliary radiator, six U-shaped copper heatpipes, each of 6 mm in diameter, and two sections of aluminium plates of similar thickness. Pre-installed fans are running at different speeds. One turns with intensity of 1300 r / min (22.6 dB noise), the other — in the range from 900 to 1500 rev / min (21,4-32,1 dB).
