H110H4-M19 – a New Mother Board by ECS

The product range of ECS mother boards has been lately broadened by the H110H4-M19 sample, represented in the MicroATX form factor and, thus, meant for compact systems.



The novelty from ECS is manufactured on the base of the Intel H110 Express logic set and presupposes the 6th and 7th generation Intel Core LGA 1151 processors installation. H110H4-M19 has 2 slots for DDR4-2133 memory modules. The maximum random-access memory capacity supported equals to 32 GB. There is also one PCI Express х16 Gen 3.0 slot for a discrete graphics accelerator, four Serial ATA 3.0 ports for drives and an М.2 connector.


The slots plate bears PS/2 ports for a keyboard and a mouse, D-Sub and HDMI interfaces for displays connection, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, a jack for a network cable and a set of audio jacks. Besides, the board features the Realtek ALC662 multi-channel audio codec, as well as the Realtek 8111H Gigabit Ethernet network controller.

Noctua Expands ‘A’ Fan Series

The line of Noctua’s A fan series has been enriched with three new models: NF-A9 92 mm, NF-A8 80 mm and NF-A4x10 5 V 40 mm. The triple is based on traditional SSO-2 bearings which provide for an optimal balance of lifespan (up to 150.000 hours) and noise level. In order to enhance the performance and reduce noise during operation Noctua equipped the fans with Advanced Acoustic Optimization frame, anti-vibration pads, and such technologies as Stepped Inlet Design, Inner Surface Microstructures and Flow Acceleration Channels.



Noctua NF-A9 model is an heir of a renowned NF-B9 version. It is available in two variations: NF-A9 PWM and NF-A9 FLX. The first one allows for dynamic alteration of operational speeds from 400 RPM to 2000 RPM; the other one offers three fixed speed indices (1050/1250/1600 RPM).

AMD Highlights Plans for the Transition to the 28nm Process

AMD is a company known for the continual and elaborate work on the development and improvement of all product lines, as well as technological standards. Thus, the coming 2013 year is supposed to be portentous for the company in terms of the implementation of 28nm standards in their APU. AMD has recently voiced the plans for the change of the Trinity APU to a new model, codenamed Richland, and the transition to 28nm technological process.



The new APU, Richland, is presumably to be released in two versions: dual-core and quad-core. It will support a number of high-performance technologies, such as Blu-ray 3D, dual graphics, Open CL, AMD turbo core overclocking, and some others.
