ASRock Showcases X99 Taichi & Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7 Mainboards

ASRock announces a pair of gaming ATX mainboards – the X99 Taichi and the X99 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7. Both new-comers are developed on Intel X99 chipset, targeting Intel Core i7 & Intel Xeon CPUs for Socket LGA2011-3 platforms. The pair employs a 12-phase digital VRM system and allows installing up to 8 DDR4-3300+ MHz memory modules. Both boards accommodate top-tier components which are accompanied by a range of advanced technologies.

The key differentiation between the two motherboards is external design. ASRock X99 Taichi boasts an original black-and-white gamut with an offbeat ornament, whereas ASRock X99 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7 employs a traditional gaming red-and-black gamut.

It features 190x125x45 mm dimensions and maintains an etalon clock frequency template. Hence, its price won’t differ too much from the recommended one. The new-comer boasts a bright design with a blue PCB and light-blue fan blades. Despite the appurtenance to the middle-end segment, the card is able to demonstrate quite an appropriate performance.
