Asus Showcases New PB238TR Monitor with Unprecedented Specs

Asus has recently showcased one more high-end PC monitor – the PB238TR. It features 23 inch display and boasts 549x323.7x244.5 mm dimensions (with stand). The model is peculiar by the support of Human Sensor technology. The latter keeps track of the user’s presence; on his absence for a predetermined time period, the monitor turns to a standby mode. This promotes for a well-judged power consumption, resulting in a dramatic cost efficiency.

Asus PB238TR is based on IPS array with 6 ms response time and Full HD resolution (1920x1080). IPS ensures also a perfect color rendering, wide viewing angles (178/178 degrees in both aspects), 250 cd/m2 maximal brightness, as well as a striking dynamic contrast of 50M:1. New characteristics of co-processors Xeon Phi

Design and Integration

NAS QNAP TS-469 Pro is based on a steel frame. The casing is made of dark aluminum, while the frontal panel is made of black plastic. The larger part of this panel features a bay for the HDD installation; HDD bay consists of metallic frames and external plastic straps.
