Gigabyte introduced a full-color «3D BIOS»

Paying tribute to fashion design that encourages the creation of color, which is smooth and simple, Gigabyte had created something called «3D BIOS», which is actually UEFI, which offers a «more intuitive» way to navigate the menu and set the motherboard settings.



New 3D BIOS allows both novice and mainstream users to get an easier way to interact with the BIOS, which will be first used on the motherboard Gigabyte X79, designed for enthusiasts and overclockers of Sandy Bridge E platform.


Fortunately, the motherboard from Gigabyte will have to double the embodiment of UEFI BIOS, which will ensure its operation both in 3D BIOS, and in extended BIOS mode. Switching between two of these modes will be performed with one mouse click.

Dell Inspiron 24 7000: an All-in-One PC with a Difference

Dell has recently introduced a 24-inch all-in-one PC, entitled Inspiron 24 7000. The new-comer is vestured into a sleek case that mimics a standard display. Nonetheless, its functionality does not yield to a traditional desktop computer. Such framework provides for a better ergonomics and adds trimness to the workplace.



Dell Inspiron 24 7000 is based on Intel Core i5-6300HQ (Intel Skylake) CPU, operating at 2.3 GHz frequency with the possibility to overclock to 3.2 GHz index. It is mated with 12 GB DDR4-2133 MHz RAM and 4 GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 940M graphics (with integrated GDDR3). Storage subsystem is represented by 1 TB hard disk drive as well as 32 GB mSATA solid-state drive.

Biostar Announces Budget-Oriented H110MD PRO Mainboard

Biostar has replenished its PRO series of motherboards with a budget-friendly model – H110MD PRO. The greenhorn is based on Intel H110 chipset compatible with Intel Skylake Socket LGA 1151 CPUs. As far as this micro-ATX board is an entry-level solution, it offers just basic facilities, including 5-phase VRM, a pair of DIMM slots for DDR3L-1600 MHz modules (maximal capacity – 16 GB).
