Abee Launches Just Another High-End Small-Sized PC Case



Abee Corporation, famous for high-end and high-priced chassis, is about to release just another premium PC case. Codenamed Acubic A90, the case features 229x309x249 mm dimensions and weighs 4.9 kg. It is characterized by an austere design, where rack is made of steel and covered by 2 mm aluminum sheet. Abee offers three color variations of this model: black, silver and white. The first two cases will be delivered at about $310, while the third one might cost $10 more.


Acubic A90 is known to support motherboards of mini-ITX/micro-ATX format. Its internal framework is estimated for four PCI expansion cards, a single 5.25-inch drive, two 2.5-inch and six 3.5-inch drives. Besides, the layout allows for the installation of rather lengthy graphics adapters (up to 270 mm), rather high CPU coolers (up to 75 mm), and rather voluminous power supply units (up to 160 mm in length). Patriot Memory Releases High-End Memory Modules

Patriot Memory yesterday announced the release of high-end DDR3 memory modules. According to the words of the company's representatives, their new modules are designed specifically with the intention to boost the performance potential of Intel Core processors (basically of the second and third generations). Codenamed Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition, these modules are mainly oriented at the inveterate gamers and enthusiasts, ensuring the stable work of high-performance game consoles.



Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition modules support Intel XMP 1.3 and are able to work at 1600 MHz, 1866 MHz, and 2133 MHz. The new memory modules will go in two-channel and four-channel kits and supplied in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB volume capacities. The modules operate in 1.5V ranges.

Design and Integration


NAS QNAP TS-469 Pro is based on a steel frame. The casing is made of dark aluminum, while the frontal panel is made of black plastic. The larger part of this panel features a bay for the HDD installation; HDD bay consists of metallic frames and external plastic straps. Right above the bay there is a block of two-array indicators, two control panels and eight LED lights signifying the work of each hard drive, general device status, network connection, USB connection, and eSATA connection.
