Cooler Arctic Accelero Xtreme 7970 Review

Success in hardware industry is greatly relied on the technologies applied by the manufacturers, quality of products and the frequency of new releases. The development of new technologies and quality of the produced items demands sufficient resource base and bright intellectuals who can influence the frequency of new releases. Here everything is interrelated. Arctic Cooling AG company does not sacrifice any of the success aspects and frequently gladdens its clientele with outstanding products. Arctic Accelero Xtreme 7970 is a bright representative of coolers for Accelero graphics cards which is able to offer multiple opportunities.

Framework Peculiarities

The first peculiar feature that might strike the customers’ eyes is that cooler Accelero Xtreme 7970 framework does not differ a lot from its predecessors. It is equipped with three 92 mm fans which go in a plastic cover, and with two radiator sections based on five copper heat tubes. This model claims to endure 300 W of …

Inno3D Demonstrates Two GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost Graphics Cards

As opposed to the army of companies that launched practically identical to the prototype GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost graphics cards, Inno3D has elaborated two own versions which dramatically differ from Nvidia’s sample. The major difference lies in an efficient cooling system and production overclocking. The first model, marked as Inno3D GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost iChill, is equipped with a highly efficient cooler ‘iChill’ and features 7% production overclocking. The other model, marked as Inno3D GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost, comes without overclocked frequencies, although its hardware components promote for the conducting of various clock frequency tests.

Both novels take GK106 as the basis. The GPU is developed under 28 nm technological process and features 768 CUDA cores, 64 texturing blocks, and 16 rasterization blocks. In regard to frequencies, Inno3D GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost iChill is clocked at 1050 MHz in nominal mode, but can be overclocked up to 1102 MHz in GPU Boost …

Evga Launches One More Overclocked Graphics Card

Evga, a leading American supplier of 3D cards, is going to launch one more graphics card with factory overclocked speeds. A new model is based on Nvidia FeForce GTX 670 adapter and codenamed as Evga GeForce GTX 670 FTW LE. Its design resembles the one implemented in GeForce GTX 670 FTW card, but the main distinction between them is seen in frequency showings. The newbie demonstrates a bit lower frequency index than its predecessor.

Evga GeForce GTX 670 FTW LE is housed on a PCB designed for PCI-e 3.0 x16 bus. This card takes GK104 graphics core with 1344 CUDA cores as the basis; it is developed on Kepler architecture under 28 nm standards. Its inventory also embraces 2GB of GDDR5 memory (256-bit interface). Cooling system is introduced by a 2-slot cooler of active type with a single turbine-like fan. Power subsystem consists of two connection 6-pin sockets and requires a quite efficient PSU (not less than 500W power).

Frequency template looks the following way: GPU runs at …
