Netgear Boasts a New Advanced ReadyNAS Family

Netgear, a renowned designer of high-end network and storage solutions, has recently announced the release of a new NAS family, codenamed ReadyNAS. This family consists of three desktop NAS series (home, corporate and universal) and one rack model of 1U form-factor. Depending on the model, storages are delivered either in diskless configurations or complete with disks. One of the peculiarities pertained to these products is that they operate under a new version of ReadyNAS OS 6 platform.



According to Netgear, all the models within the ReadyNAS family are characterized by the implementation of diverse data protection options. Among others, the user will be able to utilize such functions as practically unlimited number of snapshots, replication with monitoring from the cloud, solid-drawn file synchronization due to ReadyDROP, integration with Dropbox, and automatic volume expansion due to XRAID. Motherboard ASRock Z87 Extreme6 (LGA1150 Platform) Review

Intel Z87 platform is masterfully penetrating into all global markets. ASRock Z87 Extreme6 is designed in ATX form-factor with 305x244 mm dimensions. Its top side accommodates a large number of components, while the reverse side revels in three driver-doublers (ISL6611A) of CPU power rails only. Intel Z87 chipset is cooled down by a voluminous heatsink. A couple of additional ASM1061 controllers are soldered right to the system logics; they allow for the usage of up to ten devices with SATA 6 Gb/sec connectivity interface. Review and testing of coolers GlacialTech Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM

The company GlacialTech Inc. known as a producer of cheap cooling systems aimed primarily at the lower and medium price segment. They are intended solely to cool the non-overclocked CPU. At the same time, GlacialTech has already made attempts to produce more efficient coolers that can cope with cooling of processors with high heat. It was the Siberia and Alaska, and F101 even before. Developing on its trend, the company has recently released two new models aimed at the medium price segment. It is about Igloo H46 PWM and Igloo H58 PWM.
