TP-Link to Launch Wireless Dual-Band TL-WDR4300

TP-Link, a renowned supplier of wired and wireless network solutions, is going to release a new wireless dual-band router model, codenamed TL-WDR4300. The launch of the new product is scheduled for the end of September. This router will be characterized by an optimized efficiency and simultaneous employment of two band frequencies.

The combination of two bands promoted for the increase of speed to 450 Mb/sec at 5 GHz frequency and 300 Mb/sec at 2.4 GHz frequency. As a result, the overall bandwidth approximates 750 Mb/sec. This allows the user to enable up to a dozen of channel-sensitive applications and provide for their quick operation.

TL-WDR4300 is equipped with a couple of USB 2.0 ports which are predetermined to organize a joint access towards files, media data or printers, and enable a joint access of several PCs via local network by means of FTP-server. This way, the user will get permanent access towards the necessary data. This model is able to support QoS on IP …

UPS PowerCom Phantom PTM 600AP Review

The importance of uninterruptible power supply units in home and corporate systems can't be overestimated. Those units save PCs and other devices from malfunctions and total failure in case of voltage fluctuations or sudden disappearance. In this light, many prudent users tend to acquiring UPS with the aim to protect their hard-earned platforms from breakdown. PowerCom is known to deliver high-end UPS units which can be employed as in standard home systems, so in large corporate ones, where the danger of sudden voltage variations is great. Its latest product Phantom PTM 600AP is able to ensure total reliability in the most unexpected conditions.

General Peculiarities

UPS PowerCom Phantom PTM 600AP features tower-like thin casing without any extraordinary solutions. The central part of the clipboard contains a single Startup button that is lighted by blue LED. Meeting New Gaming Memory Kits AMD Radeon RG2133

A couple of days ago AMD introduced a new series of DDR3 memory kits within the boundaries of AMD Unified Gaming Strategy development. Codenamed AMD Radeon RG2133, the new-comers are available in two- and four-channel kits, the overall capacity of which equals to 16 GB and 32 GB correspondingly. The most striking feature is that they can be employed as on AMD, so on Intel platforms, supporting AMD AMP and Intel XMP technologies for improved settings optimization.

The other peculiarity is that these memory kits run at 2133 MHz frequency. On such conditions there is always a chance to dramatically increase the system performance up to 22% (with APU AMD A10 on board). Herewith, voltage index equals to 1.65 V, while latency index looks the following way: 10-11-11-30. Memory chips are cooled down by the forces of a high-quality aluminum heatspreader. Its design is called to ensure a stable operation in response to the increased frequencies.
