Meet a New 4K Monitor from NEC

NEC is going to release one more 24-inch PC monitor but this time with the support for an Ultra HD 4K resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. Entitled MultiSync LCD-EA244UHD-BK, it is characterized by an outstanding visual performance and by a relatively high price tag (approximately $2900). The model doesn’t feature a unique design, however it does have a lot to offer to all potential viewers.



NEC LCD-EA244UHD-BK employs an updated IPS panel, equipped with GB-R backlight. The latter ensures a wider color gamut than traditional W-LED analogues. The panel is specified by 6 ms response time, widest viewing angles (178/178 degrees H/V), 350 cd/m2 brightness, and 1000:1 static contrast. Two in-built speakers (1 W each) provide for a high-quality audio production.

You've probably seen the modern TVs with dynamic backlight called Ambilight, developed by Philips. The essence of its work is to highlight the space behind the TV in different combinations of colours, depending on the events happening on the screen.

A new development called PaintPack is presented. This model is intended to implement the same idea as the technology of Ambilight, but allows to «light around» any computer monitor. A device called PaintPack is a simpler version in a small box with ten cable-trains, which have bright LEDs at the ends. These LEDs are placed evenly around the perimeter of the back of the monitor, and provide illumination in accordance with what is happening at the moment on the screen. Nanoxia Launches the Second Deep Silence Chassis

Nanoxia has announced its plans to start shipping a new chassis series, codenamed Deep Silence 2. The first generation of Deep Silence PC chassis was introduced more than 1.5 year ago, however, all devotees of German standards and reliability were looking forward to the next product designed by Nanoxia. Deep Silence 2 is a Mid-Tower casing which supports the motherboards of ATX, E-ATX, mini-ITX, and micro-ATX standards. The new product will be available in four color gamuts: black, white, silver (front panels) and absolutely white edition.




Chassis Deep Silence 2 is distinguished by the implementation of heightened sound-proof casing properties.
