Meeting New Chassis Sugo SG10 from SilverStone

SilverStone Technology, a celebrated Taiwanese PC hardware manufacturer, is going to release at the end of the current month its new mini-tower chassis codenamed SG10 that joined the SilverStone Sugo series. Featuring 354x295x220 mm dimensions, the novice is housed in a case made of stainless steel (totally black exterior and interior) with an aluminum frontal facet. The latter comprises a ventilation slot, covered by an anti-dust grid.

First of all, it should be noted that Sugo SG10 is predestined specifically for the assembling of small-sized but rather high-performance PC systems. The chassis is compatible with motherboards of mini-ITX/micro-ATX standard and is ready to welcome graphics adapters of up to 338 mm (length), PSUs of 180 mm (length), as well as CPU coolers of up to 165 mm (height). One of its key peculiarities is the localization of the power supply unit at the frontal part of the case, if compared with the majority of contemporary solutions with PSU bays at the …

MSI Unveils GTX 1050 & GTX 1050 Ti Lineups of Video Cards

MSI has taken its fans by surprise by introducing two lineups of video cards simultaneously. The lines (which embrace 10 models in total) are based on Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1050 & GeForce GTX 1050 Ti adapters. The new-comers feature either one or two fans and differ by the operational performance as well as functional. It stands to reason that the company has enlarged its Gaming series with 4 new products.

One-fan video cards are distinguished by the implementation of Military Class 4 hardware base, whereas the two-fan versions boast the incorporation of MSI Twin Frozr VI cooling system (TORX 2.0 fans), three operational profiles and overclocking features.

The MSI GeForce GTX 1050 series is introduced by the following models (Nvidia GP107-300 GPU, Pascal, 640 CUDA, 2GB GDDR5, 128-bit bus, DVI-D, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4):

— MSI GeForce GTX 1050 2G: base GPU frequency – 1354 MHz, dynamic GPU frequency – 1455 MHz, efficient memory frequency – 7.0 GHz;

Evga Launches One More Overclocked Graphics Card

Evga, a leading American supplier of 3D cards, is going to launch one more graphics card with factory overclocked speeds. A new model is based on Nvidia FeForce GTX 670 adapter and codenamed as Evga GeForce GTX 670 FTW LE. Its design resembles the one implemented in GeForce GTX 670 FTW card, but the main distinction between them is seen in frequency showings. The newbie demonstrates a bit lower frequency index than its predecessor.

Evga GeForce GTX 670 FTW LE is housed on a PCB designed for PCI-e 3.0 x16 bus. This card takes GK104 graphics core with 1344 CUDA cores as the basis; it is developed on Kepler architecture under 28 nm standards. Its inventory also embraces 2GB of GDDR5 memory (256-bit interface). Cooling system is introduced by a 2-slot cooler of active type with a single turbine-like fan. Power subsystem consists of two connection 6-pin sockets and requires a quite efficient PSU (not less than 500W power).

Frequency template looks the following way: GPU runs at …
