Spire Launches Ridge 6601 and Ridge 6602 PC Chassis

Spire has officially launched a new line of budgetary PC chassis, codenamed Spire Ridge. At the moment, there are only two models within the series – the Ridge 6601 and the Ridge 6602. Both are characterized by the support for ATX motherboards and have many other identical specifications: i.e. mid-tower form-factor, 192x415x418 mm dimensions. Still, there are some differentiations as well.



The first distinction between the two models lies in the frontal panel design. Therefore, Ridge 6601 features a laconic panel made of plastic without additional ventilation. In its turn, Ridge 6602 features a half-perforated metallic frontal panel that allows for a more intense cooling of internal components.

High-End NAS Series TS-x69 from QNAP

QNAP, an outstanding supplier of network attached storages and NVR solutions, announces the release of a new high-end NAS series TS-x69. The series is represented by five models with two (TS-269 Pro), four (TS-469 Pro), five (TS-569 Pro), six (TS-669 Pro) and eight (TS-869 Pro) disk bays. All the models support hot drive swapping activity that does not require cessation of all operations when there is a need to change one of the drives. Philips Launches 258B6QUEB QHD Monitor with Type-C Port

As part of the Philips Monitors brand, MMD has introduced 258B6QUEB QHD monitor – the first solution in the lineup to support USB 3.1 Type-C interface. This port allows for transferring data and charging external devices (simultaneously) via a single cable. This simplifies the interaction between the display and mobile devices. Along with an advanced Type-C, the model features a set of traditional ports: 3x USB 3.0, VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort 1.2.



Philips 258B6QUEB QHD is based on a 25-inch IPS panel, supporting 2560x1440 resolution. It boasts premium color rendering, aspect ratio of 16:9, the widest viewing angles (178/178), standard static contrast of 1000:1, and the top brightness on 350 cd/m2. The panel is fitted with a power-efficient WLED backlight. Besides, the display supports 16.7 million colors.
