Meet Two Modifications of Lian Li PC-V359 Chassis

Lian Li Industrial Co., a well-known Taiwanese designer of state-of-the-art PC cases, is glad to announce the release of two new versions of PC-V359 chassis. The first differentiation between the modifications lies in the color scheme: one model uses black-and-red scheme ($199), whereas the other one – pure golden scheme ($219).

Both chassis are made of aluminum alloy. Their frontal panel boasts the availability of a small window, while the top panel is entirely transparent. The latter is fixed by means of four screws, unscrewing of which enables the removal of frontal and side panels. This done, the user receives free access towards internal layout.

Lian Li PC-V359 cases are compatible with micro-ATX motherboards. They are ready to accommodate four PCI expansion cards, a thin ODD, six 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. Meet New Transcend HSD740 SSDs for Universal Usage

Transcend has pushed along its new solid-state drive of half-slim form-factor — HSD740. The drive is based on a high-quality NAND flash-memory with MLC architecture and is intended at the employment in a wide spectrum of platforms: small-sized portative devices, laptops, enterprise PCs, as well as in gaming consoles. Cooltek Rolls Out Thermolab CPU Coolers

Enlisting up support of a well-known German manufacturer PC Cooling GmbH (Cooltek brand), Thermolab brought on the European market a pair of small-sized CPU coolers. Codenamed LP53 and ITX30, the products are differentiated by the depth of the copper plates and the dimensions of the pre-installed fan. Both new-comers are predestined for mini-ITX and micro-ATX platforms with Intel LGA1156/1155/1150 socket and 100 W TDP processors.

The Thermolab LP53 features 100x94x53 mm dimensions and weighs 410 g (including fan). It consists of a copper base, two 6 mm heatpipes, and 7-blade PWM fan of 92 mm dimensional type. The latter is able to rotate within the speed range of 1000 RPM to 2100 RPM, producing up to 27 dB noise. The cooler’s price does not transcend 37 EUR.
