Cooler Master N300 and N500: PC Cases of Medium Price Tier

Cooler Master announces a release of two new PC cases of mid-tower form-factor. Codenamed N300 and N500, the couple belongs to the medium price tier products and is differentiated by a laconic design combined with a thoughtfully elaborated cooling. Each model features a totally black coating and grid-like frontal panel. In retail market these cases will be offered in two framework variations: with blind side panels and with a large transparent window on one of the panels.



Both models are thought to support motherboards of standard ATX and micro-ATX dimensional type. The most notable peculiarity is the cooling system that primarily consists of two pre-installed 120 mm fans (in the frontal and rear parts of the case); however, this pair might be easily supplemented by seven (with blind construction) or five (with windowed construction) fans more. Amazon Has Put Intel NUC6CAYS Mini-PCs Up for Sale at the Price of $233

Being announced a short while ago, the Intel NUC6CAYS mini-PC has not been on sale yet. Though recently it has become known, that Amazon started to sell this product at the price of $233, and its cost has already decreased to $215.



NUC6CAYS is equipped with the Celeron J3455 CPU from the Intel Apollo Lake line. The 4-core central processing unit operates at the 1.5–2.3 GHz frequency. It features the 2 GB DDR3L-1600 random-access memory, the 32 GB eMMC module, the HD Graphics 500 graphics processing unit and two SO-DIMM slots. The case offers space for the 2.5-inch drive with the 6 Gbps SATA interface.


The device supports (1x1) Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Gigabit Ethernet. It is also fitted with a VGA, an HDMI 2.0 and four USB 3.0 ports. The 65 W external power pack is added to the supply kit.
