MSI Unveils New Gaming Graphics Card GeForce GTX 760 Hawk

MSI has recently introduced its newest graphics adapter with the support of Twin BIOS technology. Codenamed MSI GeForce GTX 760 Hawk, the card positions itself as an optimal solution for inveterate gamers, as well as for overclockers. The new-comer is based on Nvidia’s GK104 GPU (28 nm technological process) with 1152 CUDA cores. It runs on dynamically heightened frequencies, as compared with the reference model.

Following the success of Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5 CPUs, ASRock decided to launch a couple of compatible ATX motherboards. The Fatal1ty E3V5 Performance Gaming/OC and E3V5 WS models both feature Intel C232 chipset. The first new-comer is targeting gamers, while the other one is called to satisfy the needs of fastidious enthusiasts.

ASRock Fatal1ty E3V5 Performance Gaming/OC comes equipped with 4 DIMM slots which support DDR4-2133 MHz memory modules. The inventory also includes Super Alloy design as well as Gaming Armor, Hyper BCLK Engine, F-Stream, Key Master, DDR4 Non-Z OC technologies.

Intel Makes an Agreement with ASML to Accelerate 450 mm Wafer Development

The past several days were marked by the Intel's announcement about the celebration of a contract with ASML company. Such step has been dictated by the company's intentions to invest into the development of 450 mm wafers and EUV technologies. In accordance with the preliminary estimates, the general investment rate will reach $4.1 billion. The major target of the cooperation is to decrease the term of lithography equipment commissioning by two years, and stimulate the development of technologies targeted at 450 mm wafers. The implementation of the predesigned plans will allow the manufacturers of semiconductor components to receive a range of benefits, among which is the cut of expenses.

With the purpose to facilitate in the solution of this technological problem, Intel will take part in a dedicated program. This program includes financial backup of scientific and research projects, as well as, equity investing campaigns in ASML.
