Meet New Mammoth MM01 PC Chassis from SilverStone

SilverStone Technology is about to launch a new full-tower chassis, entitled Mammoth MM01 (codename: SST-MM01B). Featuring 597x271x542 mm dimensions, the greenhorn might fit any environment due to a sleek all-black design. Besides, the framework is engineered in a way to give no chance to the dust to penetrate into the layout. The integrated dust filters are a great facilitation in this blockade.



SilverStone Mammoth MM01 is known to support nearly all types of motherboards, starting from standard ATX and finishing with eATX, SSI-CEB, SSI-EEB ones. The layout offers room for two 5.25-inch drives, seven 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch storage solutions. In addition, one of the 3.5-inch drive slots supports hot-swap options. The chassis is also ready to accommodate a couple of two-slot videocards of up to 337 mm in length, ATX-compatible PSU of up to 225 mm in length and CPU cooler of up to 183 mm in height.

Asustor Introduces New-Gen AS 3 NAS Series

Asustor, an outstanding Taiwanese developer of high-end hardware pieces, has just launched a series of new-generation NAS devices, codenamed AS 3. The series involves two models – the AS-302T and the AS-304T – that are characterized by the support of advanced multimedia facilities and high-resolution video (1080 p). The first model consists of two HDD bays with the maximal capacity of 8 TB, whereas the second model boasts four HDD bays with an overall 16 TB capacity. For this reason, the retail price makes up $334.90 and $499 respectively.



AS 3 NAS devices are based on Intel Atom two-core processors that run at 1.6 GHz clock frequency. Memory subsystem is introduced by DDR3 modules of 1 GB capacity. Interface I/O panel is rich in gigabit Ethernet network port, IR-port, HDMI video socket, 3.5 mm audio socket, and USB 3.0 port. One of the blissful advantages is the possibility to unite the drives into the following RAID arrays: RAID 0/1/5/6/10 and JBOD.
