Spire Launches Ridge 6601 and Ridge 6602 PC Chassis

Spire has officially launched a new line of budgetary PC chassis, codenamed Spire Ridge. At the moment, there are only two models within the series – the Ridge 6601 and the Ridge 6602. Both are characterized by the support for ATX motherboards and have many other identical specifications: i.e. mid-tower form-factor, 192x415x418 mm dimensions. Still, there are some differentiations as well.



The first distinction between the two models lies in the frontal panel design. Therefore, Ridge 6601 features a laconic panel made of plastic without additional ventilation. In its turn, Ridge 6602 features a half-perforated metallic frontal panel that allows for a more intense cooling of internal components.

Seasonic Teases a New Snow Silent 1050 W Power Supply

This season a new ‘white-color’ fashion trend has gripped many PC hardware manufacturers. Seasonic joined the tendency by introducing a new high-end power supply unit, codenamed Snow Silent 1050 W. It is intended enthusiasts and demanding gamers which aim to build a multi-GPU platform. The new-comer is already available at the European market at the price tag of 262.50 EUR.

Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB Power Units with a capacity of 650–850 W

A new series of Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB power units is about to see the world. It hasn’t even been announced on the official site of the manufacturer yet. This series includes three models with a capacity of 650, 750 и 850 W, all of which feature one powerful +12V line, the up-to-date circuitry and the element base of high quality. That’s why these samples are effective and marked with a 80 PLUS Gold certificate.



The three models of the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB series use fully modular cable system with handy flat sleeves. Besides, 650 W and 750 W versions are equipped with nine SATA and four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. In its turn the 850 W model offers ten SATA and six PCIe connectors.


The cooling system embodies a 140 mm fan with 256-colour RGB-lighting, managed through the DPS G PC App. Thermaltake recommends to install these power units with a fan on the top. This is expected to lower the temperature inside the power unit and the chassis by 3°С. …
