The Latest Nvidia Volta Graphics Processors Are Expected to be Designed in Accordance with 12 nm Technology-specific Rules

Allegedly, in 2017 NVIDIA is going to release a new generation of Volta graphics processors, designed in conformity with 12 nm technology-specific rules. According to these rumours, Volta will take Pascal’s place in supercomputing, artificial intelligence and machine learning systems. It is expected, that modern chips will be manufactured at TSMC factories.



Moreover, in addition to supercomputing solutions, the chip manufacturer plans to launch a series of video cards, based on Pascal Refresh graphics engines. One of the first samples may be GeForce GTX 2080 Ti with a GP102 chip, utilized in the current GeForce GTX Titan X flagship.

HP Unveils Ergonomic DreamColor Z32x Monitor

HP comes out to the market with a new 31.5-inch monitor Z32x as a part of DreamColor series. The new-comer features 737x613.8x245.5 mm dimensions and is based on IPS panel. The Slovenian EK Water Blocks Company has produced the EK-FB MSI Z270 Gaming Monoblock RGB water unit, designed to serve with a range of Z270 chipset based MSI motherboards. Specifically, the list includes the MSI Z270 Tomahawk, MSI Z270 Tomahawk Arctic MSI Z270, Gaming Pro, MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon, MSI Z270 SLI, MSI Z270 SLI Plus, as well as MSI Z270 Krait Gaming models.



The water block draws off heat from the LGA-1151 processor and from effective power subsystem voltage controllers. The device is supplied with a LED strip, optimized for a 4-pin connector on a system board or an external controller. This strip can be removed or replaced by a new one.


The nickel-plated water block base is made out of copper, and the transparent lid — out of acrylic plastic. The Low Hydrodynamic Resistance of the unit allows to utilize it with low-capacity pumps.
