SilverStone Unveils Raven RVX01 Enthusiast-Oriented Chassis

SilverStone Technology is about to release its newest PC case that supplemented an outstanding Raven Series. Targeting advanced PC builders & enthusiasts, the Raven RVX01 features 500x215x485 mm dimensions and differs by an offbeat all-black chassis design with the employment of high-quality Japanese steel and plastic. The customers will be able to choose the modification with blind side panels and with a windowed side panel (acrylic glass). Pricing is set at $92 and $100 correspondingly.



SilverStone Raven RVX01 offers a nontrivial localization of all components. For instance, it presupposes the installation of the motherboard (mini-ITX, micro-ATX, ATX) in quadrature. SilverStone to Out Kublai KL06 Chassis

SilverStone Technology is about to release a new PC chassis within the framework of Kublai series. The KL06 is a mini-tower solution, featuring 405x211x375 mm dimensions, made of stainless steel with an aluminum frontal panel and a ventilation grid. Along with a totally ‘blind’ model, the manufacturer offers a case with a side acrylic window (SST-KL06B-W). The recommended retail price will fluctuate within $92 mark.



SilverStone Kublai KL06 interior is differentiated by an unconventional location of the motherboard tray – on the left-side facet. The layout is ready to welcome micro-ATX, mini-ITX and mini-DTX mainboards with some high-performance parameters. They Did It! Official Release of AMD Radeon HD 7990 ‘Malta’

Much rumored reference graphics adapter from AMD has been recently officially introduced. As it was suggested before, Radeon HD 7990, codenamed ‘Malta’, employs two Tahiti XT2 GPUs, each of which contains 128 TMUs, 32 rasterization blocks (ROPs), and 2048 current processors (GCN architecture). Smooth work of both graphics cores is synchronized by means of PLX PEX8747 controller that supports 48 lines of PCI Express 3.0. Nominal clock frequencies ascribed to GPUs operation equal to 950 MHz, but Turbo mode enables the increase of frequencies up to 1000 MHz.



Video memory is represented by GDDR5 memory modules, the overall capacity of which equals to 6 GB (3 GB per each graphics core).
