Elsa to Replenish the Line of Graphics Cards with GeForce GTX 670

Elsa Technology has announced the future release of its alternative version of graphics adapter Nvidia GeForce GTX 670. The new model is developed according to 28 nm technological process and employs GK104 chip with 1344 CUDA cores. It also boasts the implementation of advanced architecture, called Kepler. The major distinction of Elsa GeForce GTX 670 from its reference models is the integration of Silent Air Cooling technology (SAC).

This model is based on blue circuit board destined for PCI Express 3.0 x16 bus. Elsa graphics card is equipped with GDDR5 memory type (256 bit interface) and has got 2048 Mb of overall volume capacity. The backplate is assigned for a couple of DVI ports, a single HDMI, and one DisplayPort 1.2 port. LG Promises to Release 27EN43V-B Monitor in Early March

LG Electronics is going to release a new PC monitor, 27EN43V-B, with 27-inch display. An official release is scheduled for early March. So far, it’s known that the model is based on TN array type equipped with LED backlit and features the maximal resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (Full HD). Its overall dimensions along with a stand equal to 642x203x459 mm.

The implemented stand is more than ordinary with the only possibility of adjusting the angle of gradient, to contrast the multiplicity of commodities found in the majority of contemporary monitors. However, 27EN43V-B can be used as a wall screen due to a dedicated VESA bracket.

The interface panel also offers a set of standard facilities, including 3.5 mm audio slot for the connection of headsets or external speakers, HDMI, mini D-Sub and DVI-D video ports.

Haswell processors for laptops will consume up to 57 W, desktop - up to 100

Intel provides with three graphics levels: GT1, GT2 and GT3. Desktop processors won’t receive graphics performance higher than GT2, but mobile processors will be able to boast of with GT3 class. Support of PCI Express 3.0 for Haswell processors will be quite usual characteristics, but at the memory controller little progress is seen — yet provides dual-channel DDR3-1600.
