Biostar B85Z: Micro-ATX Mainboard for Audiophiles

Biostar is about to release a new oblectation for audiophiles – the B85Z system board. Featuring micro-ATX form-factor (224x174 mm dimensions), the model combines a full-blown spectrum of facilities each full-format board has. It is developed on Intel B85 Express chipset with Socket LGA1150 for Intel Haswell processors of Core, Pentium and Celeron families. The nominal delivery kit will allegedly comprise DVD with drivers, a pair of SATA cables, a user’s manual, and a rear panel plug.



Biostar B85Z comes equipped with prime-quality capacitors, field-effect transistors, and 4-phase VRM. Memory subsystem is introduced by two slots for DDR3-1600 MHz modules (up to 16 GB overall capacity). The availability of a single PCIe x16 & a pair of PCIe x1 slots ensures sufficient expansion facilities. AMD Has Published the Timing of Low-End Ryzen Models Bulk Sale Start

One can stop making wild guesses as far as AMD has voiced the official time frame of the beginning of low-end Ryzen models bulk sale. 6-core CPUs will come out in the 2nd quarter this year, and 4-core Ryzen 3 will be available in the second part of 2017.



Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 will possess the similar architecture as their higher-order counterparts. According to some resources, the only nuance is that in Ryzen 3 the SMT technology will be disabled, however, this device will cost less than $149. Greeting New PC Chassis ME880 from Delux

Delux Technology, a well-established manufacturer of PC hardware and peripherals, starts selling its new PC chassis, intended for budget-oriented gamers. Entitled Delux ME880, the model corresponds to ATX form-factor and features 410x192x435 mm dimensions. It supports all motherboards of ATX and micro-ATX standard, as well as a wide range of graphics solutions, due to the availability of seven PCI-slots in the rear section of the case. In order to meet some customers’ design requirements, this chassis will be available in three color variations: white, black and red.



ME880 is equipped with four external bays for the mounting of 5.25-inch drives.
