Company Thecus decided to introduce a new naming scheme for its drives, so that users can easily understand its product line. New names will have all future models.

In the name with length of five to seven characters will be encoded some information about the device. The first letter indicates the type of device: N — NAS running Linux, D — DAS, W — NAS running Windows, V — NVR. This is followed by a two-digit number indicating the number of disks (compartments for storage) in the system. If this amount is less than 10, the first zero is omitted. Fourth and fifth digit is coded by the hardware platform used. For example, 21 — Cavium Econa, 31 — Marvell Armada, 51 — Intel Atom Cedarview, 52 — Intel EvanSport, 53 — Intel Atom third-generation, 81 — Sandy Bridge, 82 — Ivy Bridge, 83 — Other Platforms future generations. New All-in-One Business Solution MSI AP190

MSI has just unveiled its newest all-in-one PC, codenamed AP190. The model of 575x447x197 mm dimensions is an ideal solution for corporate needs with a sleek design and outstanding possibilities. It features a removable rack that facilitates in switching the display into a portrait mode and in manipulation with sensor functional. MSI AP190 runs under Windows 8.1 platform. The heart of the system is a two-core Intel Celeron 1037U CPU with an integrated Intel HD Graphics controller. Its maximal TDP level makes up 12 W only. The model features 18.5-inch display, supporting 1366x768 resolution.

QPad Intros MK-70 Mechanical Keyboard for Gamers

Gamers with basic needs are rejoiced with the news about the release of a fresh field-specific keyboard: the QPad MK-70. It features LED backlight with four levels of brightness and Cherry MX switches, accompanied with prime build quality, convenient layout, and unrivalled durability. Furthermore, this keyboard is estimated for 50 million strokes.

The MK-70 features 44.8x15x3.5 cm dimensions and weighs 1.4 kg. It is connected to the system case by means of a gold-plated USB connector with a dedicated PS/2 adapter included. Special media keys allow gamers to control volume, pause & play the game and skip tracks with a single stroke; in their turn, special mechanical keys enable N-key rollover and plug & play options.
