MSI Announces an Optimized Radeon HD 7750 Graphics Card

A new graphics card based on Radeon HD 7750 adapter is going to replenish the line of products developed by MSI. Codenamed MSI Radeon HD 7750 (R7750-1GD/OC), the card is based on AMD Cape Verde Pro GPU. Its nominal clock frequency has been increased from 800MHz to 830MHz index. The model accommodates 1GB of GDDR5 memory with 128-bit interface; its nominal frequency equals to 1125MHz, while its effective clock frequency equals to 4500MHz.

The implemented printed circuit board employs only high-end elements, including high-quality solid-state capacitors. If compared with standard analog items, capacitors integrated into MSI Radeon HD 7750 are characterized by a better efficiency, lower operational temperatures, and longer lifespan. Effective cooling process is ensured thanks to the two-slot cooling system which consists of a single fan and an aluminum heatsink. This cooler is able to provide the utmost airflow necessary for the cooling of all internal components. A set of …

Be Quiet! to Release the Second Generation of Pure Wings Fans

Listan GmbH & Co. KG, a well-known German manufacturer that releases its hardware products under Be Quiet! brand, is going to introduce the second revision of Pure Wings series of system fans. Entitled Pure Wings 2, the new series includes two models: 120 mm model, featuring 120x120x25 mm dimensions, and 140 mm model, featuring 140x140x25 mm dimensions. Both fans are characterized as entry-level low-noise solutions, which can easily cope with the cooling of all vital system components.

Fans Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 differ from their predecessors by the doubled number of blades. The latter have got original salient framework that considerably reduces the noise and produces efficient airflow. The fans are based on slide bearings and are estimated for 80.000 hours of trouble-free operation.

Both new-comers draw power via 3-pin connectors and are mounted by means of four screws. The 120 mm model rotates at 1500 RPM speed, producing up to 51 CFM airflow and not more than 19.2 dB …

Greeting PowerColor Radeon R9 290X New-Generation Graphics Cards

PowerColor has officially introduced a pair of high-efficiency graphics cards developed on the new-generation Radeon R9 290X series adapters. Codenamed PowerColor Radeon R9 290X, both new-comers support the latest graphics technologies, i.e. DirectX 11.2 and OpenGL 4.2. The models feature a totally identical design, still there is one differentiation: one of the models is equipped with a key to Battlefield 4 game. Such ‘bonus’ has resulted in a bit heightened price of $580, if compared with the standard model that costs $550.

Both cards are based on AMD Hawaii XT chip. It has been dynamically overclocked by PowerColor to 1030 MHz, whereas the nominal clock frequency remained the same – 800 MHz. In order to enhance the performance, the GPU has been supplemented with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory with 512-bit interface that runs at 5000 MHz.

To proceed with the specifications, both graphics adapters accommodate four rear video ports (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-I, and DVI-D). …
