Release of Low-Profile Cooler Slim Silence A-Plus from Gelid

Gelid Solutions, a Hong-Kong based renowned manufacturer of thermal solutions and other PC hardware, has lately presented its low-profile CPU cooler, codenamed Slim Silence A-Plus, for AMD platform. The new cooler is compatible with AMD AM2(+), AM3(+), as well as, FM1. According to the words of the Asian manufacturer, this model is capable to manage processors with the TDP index fluctuating in the measures of 95W.

There is one peculiar feature about Slim Silence A-Plus: its design resembles the design of coolers destined for GPU due to the foveate fan. That is why, customers can sometimes confuse this cooler's destination.

Intel provides with three graphics levels: GT1, GT2 and GT3. Desktop processors won’t receive graphics performance higher than GT2, but mobile processors will be able to boast of with GT3 class. MMD corporation has just introduced its newest PC monitor under Philips brand name. According to the manufacturer, the 239C4QHWAB is the world’s slimmest 23-inch model in the market: its depth does not exceed 12.5 mm. The display is made of 100% recyclable material and is peculiar by the support for Miracast interface. The latter secures immediate, wireless data transfer from the Android-based mobile device to the display.

The model is based on IPS panel with a power-efficient LED backlight. It features rather striking specifications:
