Future Technologies are Right Here with Sharp PN-K321H Monitor

IGZO, an advanced technology employing semiconductors on Indium, Gallium, Zinc, and Oxide basis, is gradually penetrating PC monitors industry. It is called to ensure an ultra-high pixel density and, as a result, — an ultra-high sharpness. For sure, being an innovative approach in the development of monitors, end-products currently cost a pretty penny. Sharp is considered to be a pioneer in this endeavor, vigorously implementing IGZO panel in its latest displays.

Hence, Sharp has officially announced the launch of a new 32-inch monitor based on IGZO array and entitled PN-K321H. It features 35 mm case depth, 16:9 aspect ratio, and quite wide viewing angles. According to the manufacturer, the nominal resolution index is estimated as 3840x2160 pixels. The display is housed on a voluminous stand that enables its rotation at 90 degrees to achieve portrait mode arrangement.

Due to the implementation of IGZO panel with high electron mobility, Sharp has managed to attain the …

New E2276VWM6 and E2476VWM6 Monitors from AOC are Showcased

Retina stress, triggered by a durable indigo emission, is no longer a threat for users, since AOC has integrated an innovative Anti-Blue Light technology into a pair of high-end monitors. The E2276VWM6 and E2476VWM6 boast an increased from 450 nm to 460 nm wavelength; this reduces harmful blue emissions by 90% and promotes for an ideal color rendering.

Moreover, a couple comes with an implemented Flicker Free technology. It totally eliminates flickering on adjusting LED backlight towards screen brightness. This provides for a better eye care.

To continue, both new-comers from AOC are known to support 1920x1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 static contrast, 20M:1 dynamic contrast, 170/160 degrees viewing angles, 2 ms response time (perfect for gaming and dynamic video applications), and 16.7 million of displayed colors. The connection of external devices is realized thanks to one VGA port and one HDMI with MHL support. The latter allows Android-based devices to …

Spire Showcases New Cylinder-Shaped Swirl IV CPU Cooler

Spire is going to release a new extraordinary cooling solution: a cylinder-shaped CPU cooler, entitled Swirl IV. It is targeting Intel processors for Socket 2011/1366/115x/775 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM2/AM3 platforms with the maximum TDP level of 130 W. The new-comer has received RoHS and CE certification that proves its environmentally-friendly nature. An official release is postponed to January 2015.

Spire Swirl IV features 131x125x62 mm dimensions and weighs 690 g. Its heatsink consists of 45 aluminum fins, pierced by three copper zinc-plated U-shaped heatpipes (8 mm). Inside the heatsink one can find a 60 mm fan with blue LED backlit. Its rotational speed is controlled by PWM technology so that the blades could run between 600 RPM up to 2000 RPM.

The fan is equipped with a slide bearing, estimated for 50.000 hours of fool-proof operation. It is powered by means of a 4-pin connector, ensuring up to 83.12 CFM airflow at 26 dB noise. Besides, at the highest rotational speed the …
