Chieftec Showcases Five New PSUs from Navitas Series

Chieftec, one of the largest German hardware manufacturers, has recently introduced a new series of power supply units, codenamed Navitas. The series is represented by 5 models: GPM-650C with 650W nominal power, GPM-750C with 750W nominal power, GPM-850C with 850W nominal power, GPM-1000C with 1000W nominal power, and GPM-1250C with 1250W nominal power correspondingly. All the products have won 80Plus Gold certificate, due to more than 90% efficiency in the high workloads.

Chieftec Navitas PSUs correspond to ATX12V v2.3 standard and support Intel Core 4th gen. processors that require little current strength on +12V rail in sleep mode. The models also support active power-factor correction option to provide for the maximal stability during operation. They are equipped with a composite cable system and a single +12V rail, estimated for the maximal current from 54 A to 104 A (this index depends on the unit’s power).

All five units are cooled down by 140 mm fans with PWM …

‘Extraordinary’ Design of Flash Drive Kingmax UI-05

The market of flash drives is full of offers from multiple designers, however Kingmax company surpassed all competitors by introducing an ‘extraordinary’ product. This singularity basically consists in a drive’s design: the part of the casing is transparent, and this enables the user to watch over the work of an internal flash-memory chip through the glass window. No other company dared for such an experiment so far and the drive is supposed to become a real hit in the market.

Kingmax UI-05 has got a metallic streamline casing which serves a solid shield for the memory chip and other electronics. The transparent glass window is lighted up by the blue LED that indicates the drive’s operational mode. The flash drive has USB 3.0 socket and is based on the Chip-on-Board technology where the memory chip is fixed directly at the circuit board. It goes in 4, 8, 16, and 32 GB volume capacity to satisfy the needs of any customer.

Kindmax UI-05 developers stressed out that …

Motherboard Intel DZ87KLT-75K Review

Intel has been a leading designer of multi-field CPUs and chipsets for many years on end. Nowadays it continues its operation, defining the mode of a global IT industry development. Being a guru in one field, the company has never been thought a major player in the motherboard segment for which its products are destined. The only people/structures that took benefit of its boards were system integrators; nonetheless, today Intel is trying to catch up with the segment of home users, now and then releasing top-tier products.
