Eurocom Intros Enterprise-Class Uno 4 All-in-One

Eurocom Corporation, a Canadian guru in gaming laptops segment, is glad to launch a new all-in-one PC, entitled Uno 4. This 21.5-inch device with 527x49x370 mm dimensions is primarily targeting enterprise market, featuring an optimized set of facilities for the solution of various business tasks. Sapphire Offers an Alternative Radeon HD 7870 GHz Graphics Card

Sapphire Technology, a renowned supplier of graphics solutions, has added an alternative model of AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition to its graphics cards model line. The new model is primarily notable by the integration of a two-slot Dual-X cooler that facilitated the process of entitling: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Dual-X Edition. This cooler consists of a voluminous aluminum heatsink, a couple of large fans, and a few copper heat pipes which are covered by a plastic lid.



Graphics card Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Dual-X Edition is based on Pitcairn chip with 1280 current processors; it is developed under 28 nm technological process and Graphics Core Next architecture. The core is able to operate at the nominal 1000 MHz frequency. Blue printed circuit board is the heart of the adapter. IBM, Intel, AMD, Cray, HPE and NVIDIA Have Been Awarded a Grant for Exaflop Supercomputer Development

The most effective supercomputer is launched in China today. The system, called Sunway TaihuLight, operates locally developed processors. The ultimate Sunway TaihuLight productivity is 125 petaflops. In 2020 China plans to generate the first system in the world with a capacity overcoming one exaflops. At present the USA stays behind, however American supercomputers’ energy performance is significantly higher.



The US Department of Energy has established a $258 million grant for cost effective exaflop supermachines construction. Six American companies (IBM, Intel, AMD, Cray, HPE and NVIDIA) won it. Now they are to create an architecture, able to consume 25–30 MW at one exaflop productiveness. Such a system’s deployment is to take place in 2021. Apart from funds committed, each member company of the Exascale Computing Project program will put up its own means, constituting around 40% of DOE’s funds. Spre deosebire de desktop-uri, cu o gama bogata de anvelope de intrare/ieșire, computere portabile au un minim de posibilități pentru conectarea echipamentelor periferice. De multe ori, în dotarea laptop, ultrabook și nettop include nu mai mult de trei-patru interfețe USBși porturi LPT, PS/2 și COM pot și nu lipsi. Aceeași problemă există și la instalarea de placi de extensie. Cu toate acestea, dispozitivele mobile sunt atu – conector PCMCIA.

Conector PCMCIA – este un tip de periferic de interfață laptop. Acesta vă permite să extindeți funcționalitatea computerului, prin compatibile cu hardware-ului, pentru care este nevoie pentru a descărca un driver pentru PCMCIA dispozitive. Cheie demnității această interfață – posibilitatea de hot-pluggable echipamente (conectare în timpul funcționării calculatorului) și de mare viteză de transfer de informații.

Standardul PCMCIA are mai multe soiuri. Cele mai frecvente dintre ele – 32-biți CardBus, suportă frecvența de până la 33 Mhz și modul de gestionare a magistralei. În această versiune, de asemenea, pusă în aplicare tehnologia specială de economisire a energiei; se activează dispozitivul conectat numai în măsura în care este necesar.

Trebuie remarcat faptul că toate cărțile cu conector PCMCIA sunt împărțite în trei tipuri. La primul tip se referă dispozitiv cu o grosime 3.3 mm și 16-biți interfață; al doilea tip include card cu grosime de 5 mm, cu 16-/32-bit interfata, iar al treilea tip de card o grosime de 10.5 mm cu aceleași opțiuni de interfață. Pentru a instala o legătură între sistemul de OPERARE-tech și un ingredient folosit în special DE driver pentru PCMCIA dispozitive.
