PowerColor Intros New Graphics Card with Fling Force Cooler

TUL Corporation, in the framework of its PowerColor brand, introduces a new graphics card with quite an original way of air cooling organization. The new-coming adapter, codenamed PowerColor Radeon HD 7850 Fling Force, employs 'two-storied' cooler of an unusual structure. Along with an aluminum heatsink, copper heat pipes, and a voluminous fan, the manufacturer implemented non-monolithic fan ribs. Their tips are fixed to the main part in a way to change their location relative to the plain of rotation.

On conditions of low rotational speed, tips of the ribs are located at approximately 80 degrees angle relative to the graphics card. On conditions of heightened speed, the ribs become more linear; this way, the impeller diameter enlarges from 92 mm to 95 mm. Such structural approach to the fan framework develops into an improved performance and air cooling effect.

‘Extraordinary’ Design of Flash Drive Kingmax UI-05

The market of flash drives is full of offers from multiple designers, however Kingmax company surpassed all competitors by introducing an ‘extraordinary’ product. This singularity basically consists in a drive’s design: the part of the casing is transparent, and this enables the user to watch over the work of an internal flash-memory chip through the glass window. No other company dared for such an experiment so far and the drive is supposed to become a real hit in the market.

Kingmax UI-05 has got a metallic streamline casing which serves a solid shield for the memory chip and other electronics. The transparent glass window is lighted up by the blue LED that indicates the drive’s operational mode. The flash drive has USB 3.0 socket and is based on the Chip-on-Board technology where the memory chip is fixed directly at the circuit board. It goes in 4, 8, 16, and 32 GB volume capacity to satisfy the needs of any customer.

Kingston Showcases New SSDNow KC300 Series

Kingston Digital, an established developer and supplier of highly efficient storage solutions, has officially introduced its new line of solid-state drives that entered SSDNow series. Entitled KC300, this line is targeted at a vast audience, starting from corporate clients and finishing with average customers. KC300 includes five models of 60 GB, 120 GB, 180 GB, 240 GB, and 480 GB capacities. According to Kingston, the new entries are supposed to substitute the two preceding SSD lines: Kingston KC100 and Kingston V+200.

SSDs KC300 are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface. LSI SandForce SF-2281 controller is the heart of each drive model. All items included in the series support DuraClass, DuraWrite, S.M.A.R.T. and RAISE technologies that substantially enhance their efficiency. The same way, all the drives are able to complete an automatic data encoding by means of two integrated encoding engines, which work with AES-128 and AES-256 algorithms. …
