Fractal Design approved itself as a reputable manufacturer of PC chassis long time ago. Nowadays, the company’s inventory embraces four lines of cases, intended for varied customer groups. Curiously enough, Arc series is a twin-brother of Define series in terms of framework, although it is differentiated by an improved ventilation. The Arc XL is a large-scale representative of the line, featuring a sleek design and offering huge integration facilities.

Fractal Design Arc XL is a full-tower chassis featuring 572x232x552 mm dimensions. The case is made of black steel with plastic inclusions. Its internal layout is ready to accommodate all types of motherboards, including the largest formats (XL-ATX, E-ATX, ATX, mini-ITX, micro-ATX). Storage section is rich in four 5.25-inch drive cages (external) and ten 3.5/2.5-inch cages (internal). In Win, a renowned Taiwanese hardware manufacturer, enters the market with two new PC chassis. The 703 model represents Middle-Tower segment, whereas the 707 model is a Full-Tower solution. Both products have combined only the best qualities much appreciated by modding fans and enthusiasts. They are housed in SECC steel cases and come in two versions: black and white coloring, with/without side acrylic window.



In Win 703 features 432 x 210 x 477 mm dimensions, being an ideal solution for middle-sized systems. Still, this case is ready to welcome full-format ATX motherboards, seven PCI Express expansion cards, 220 mm long PSUs, and 408 mm long graphics cards.

HIS Adds an Original Graphics Card to Its Inventory

The inventory of graphics solutions developed by HIS has been replenished with a new original in design card based on Radeon HD 7850 adapter. Entitled HIS Radeon HD 7850 iPower IceQ, the card is stuffed with a three-slot IceQ cooler and substantial memory volume that equals to 4GB. In addition, this model supports iTurbo applet that promotes for the GPU and memory clock frequencies increase.



Graphics card from HIS is based on a two-layer copper printed circuit board. The latter houses soldered DrMOS elements instead of conventional transistors. The integrated GPU is furnished with 1024 current processors. Its nominal clock frequency equals to 860MHz but can be dynamically boosted due to iTurbo technology. In its turn, iPower technology ensures stability and more voltage index for efficient overclocking process.
