PSU Evga 500B: a Perfect ‘Price-Quality’ Combination

Evga, a merited designer of a large spectrum of PC components, is about to release a new power supply unit, entitled 500B (codename: 100-B1-0500-KR). As seen from the title, this model features 500W power and is oriented at saving users, rather than enthusiasts. The unit is already marked by 80Plus Bronze certificate, due to 80% efficiency level on ordinary loading. Evga 500B employs a single +12V rail that ensures a stable power supply to the connected components and guarantees compatibility with new equipment. Asus Showcases Radeon R9 280 Strix OC Edition Graphics Card

The lineup of Asus Strix graphics cards, in addition to GeForce GTX 780 model, has been replenished with one more representative – the Radeon R9 280 Strix OC Edition (codename: Strix-R9280-OC-3GD5). The heart of the card is AMD Radeon R9 280 GPU (Tahiti PRO) with overclocked clock frequencies. Hence, the GPU index has been increased from etalon 933 MHz (overclocked) to 980 MHz. This provides for even more striking performance on gaming and overclocking cessions.



The graphics card is equipped with 3 GB of GDDR5 memory featuring 384-bit rail. Its frequency has also been increased, demonstrating 1300 MHz at the start and reaching 5200 MHz at the toughest loading. Nanoxia Launches the Second Deep Silence Chassis

Nanoxia has announced its plans to start shipping a new chassis series, codenamed Deep Silence 2. The first generation of Deep Silence PC chassis was introduced more than 1.5 year ago, however, all devotees of German standards and reliability were looking forward to the next product designed by Nanoxia. Deep Silence 2 is a Mid-Tower casing which supports the motherboards of ATX, E-ATX, mini-ITX, and micro-ATX standards. The new product will be available in four color gamuts: black, white, silver (front panels) and absolutely white edition.




Chassis Deep Silence 2 is distinguished by the implementation of heightened sound-proof casing properties.
