PNL-tec GmbH Launches Matr-X Series Chassis under Rasurbo Brand

Two new PC chassis, codenamed Matr-X A and Matr-X M, have replenished the line of products supplied by PNL-tech GmbH. The company delivered its chassis under Rasurbo brand and directed the models to the average price segment. Both models are developed in midi-tower form factor and are housed in steel casings painted black; they feature identical 485x197x493 mm dimensions but differ from each other by the side panel framework. Matr-X A contains a large transparent window on the side panel, while Matr-X M has got a blind panel.



Chassis Matr-X A and Matr-X M are fully compatible with micro-ATX and ATX motherboards. Their dimensions and facilities allow for the installation of seven expansion slots, six internal 3.5-/2.5-inch drives, and four external 5.25-inch drives. Release of SSD Velox V70 with SATA III Interface from Silicon Power

Silicon Power, an established manufacturer of flash memory and solid-state drives, has announced the release of its 'fresh' SSD, codenamed Velox V70. The new series is developed in 2.5-inch form factor and based on SandForce SF-2281 controllers from LSI. According to the words of the company's press service, these SSDs are designated for the installation into desktop PCs, as well as laptops. The Velox V70 series includes models of 60, 120, 240, and 480 GB volume capacity.



Velox V70 casing is made of gold-color aluminum and goes in 100x69.9x9.4 mm dimensions. Connection to the PC is realized due to the integrated SATA 3.0 interface. This series is known to support TRIM (which is called to prolong the product's durability and optimize performance) and NCQ options, and employs Error Correction Code (ECC) technology for the efficient monitoring over the transmitted data and timely correction of errors. PC Cases Enermax iVektor to Be Launched in Late August

Enermax is going to release its new iVektor series of PC cases already in late August. First seen at Computex 2013, these products draw prime attention due to unusual design and voluminous internal layout. The series counts three models that are differentiated by color: white version – Enermax iVektor (ECA3310A-W), black version – Enermax iVektor (ECA3310A-B), and red version – Enermax iVektor (ECA3310B-R). They are destined to be employed as the basis for the assembling of various system configurations.



All iVektor representatives are developed in midi-tower form-factor, featuring steel and plastic chassis. The cases support ATX/micro-ATX motherboards and seven expansion slots. Internal layout presupposes the incorporation of three 5.25-inch optical drives, as well as seven 3.5-inch drives. The height of a supported power supply unit might not exceed 179 mm.
