The X2 Pirate 8031 Chassis is Designed for ATX/Micro ATX Based Gaming Systems Construction

The Spire X2 Products company adds a novelty, called Pirate 8031, to its PC cases product range. This Mid-Tower model, performed in black (mostly out of 0.6 mm SECC steel), is aimed at construction of gaming systems, based on ATX or Micro ATX mother boards.



Pirate 8031 weighs around 5.4 kg and possesses such dimensions: 450 × 200 × 490 mm. The front tempered glass panel hides three 120 mm fans with red LED-backlighting behind it. A big side window lets clearly see all inner components.


Inside of this computer case there’s enough room for seven expansion cards. Discrete graphics accelerators of up to 390 mm length can be installed. The chassis can also hold two 3.5-inch storage devices and two 2.5-inch drives. Apart from fans provided customers may mount three 120 mm coolers in the upper part and one 120 mm cooler at the rear. Asus Unveils GeForce GTX 970 DirectCU II OC Black Graphics Card

Asus is about to release another addition to the GeForce GTX 970 series of adapters – the GeForce GTX 970 DirectCU II OC Black. This videocard is differentiated by a totally black exterior (including PCB, fans and heatpipes) with bright-red details. Xigmatek, a multi-profile Taiwanese company, is about to launch its second version of Dark Knight CPU cooler – the SD1483. Featuring 120x50x159 mm dimensions, this tower-like device comes in two color variations: black and white (Frostbourne). The model supports processors with the utmost TDP level of 160 W, designated for AMD AM2/AM3/K8 & Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/2011 platforms.



Xigmatek Dark Knight II SD1483 consists of a small-sized heatsink with fifty-five aluminum thin fins; the latter boasts ceramic coating that is called to enhance heat dissipation area. The heatsink is pierced by three 8 mm heatpipes which support direct contact technology.
