AMD Readies a Pair of Power-Efficient Desktop Processors

The Internet community is engrossed in a lively debate about the upcoming release of two new Richland desktop processors from AMD. The company has not made any official claims yet, however MSI marked the pair as an appropriate match for some of its new motherboards. Those Richland CPUs, which has already been launched by AMD, proved to be rather power-efficient, featuring 65 W and 100 W TDP level. But new entries – AMD A8-6500T and AMD A10-6700T – are thought to receive 45 W TDP package.



Upon the whole, AMD Richland processors position themselves as affordable, efficient and reliable solutions that can be employed for the assembling of systems with moderate or heightened demands. Some CPU models might be even used for the assembling of gaming systems. ECS Debuts with a New GTX660TIA-2GR5-WFM Graphics Card

ECS, a well-known designer of graphics solutions, announces the release of its new graphics card GeForce GTX 660 Ti, also known as GTX660TIA-2GR5-WFM. The card is elaborated on the basis of a reference adapter from Nvidia. GPU GK104 (designed according to 28 nm technological process) is the heart of the model. It consists of 1344 CUDA cores and features 915 MHz nominal frequency that can be dynamically overclocked to 980 MHz.



Memory subsystem of ECS GeForce GTX 660 Ti embraces 2 GB of GDDR5 memory that runs at the nominal 1502 MHz frequency but can be increased to the effective 6008 MHz mark. The manufacturer decided not to alter recommended by Nvidia parameters in their own version. The connection with GPU resources is realized via 192-bit rail.


This graphics card employs PCI-e 3.0 x16 internal interface. A set of external video interfaces totally corresponds to the etalon requirements and involves one DisplayPort, one HDMI, and a pair of DVI ports.

LEPA to Release MX-F1 and MaxGold 1000 PSUs

LEPA is ready to release a new series of entry-level power supply units entitled MX-F1. The series counts three models of 400 W, 500 W and 600 W capacity: N400-SA-EU, N500-SA-EU and N600-SA. In addition, the company has expanded its MaxGold line with a flagship 1000-watt model. It corresponds to Intel ATX12V 2.4 standard and employs an optimized hardware design.



To begin with, MX-F1 PSUs offer 87% of ultimate efficiency. Operating at 20%/50%/100% loading, they are able to achieve 82%/85%/82% efficiency correspondingly. Nonetheless, the models cannot receive 80Plus Bronze certificate, since they feature limited voltage input range. All the models within the series employ a single +12V rail and boast a non-modular design.
