Fractal Design has announced Define R4 hull

In nearly two years after the announcement of the hull Define R3, Fractal Design Company announced the release of its ideological successor. New, executed in the same minimalist style, has received the designation Define R4.



The hull is designed to install motherboard sizes ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ATX, and eight expansion cards. Define R4 design provides for two external 5.25-inch bay size, as well as ten internal, eight — to set the size 3.5-inch HDD, two — for the installation of SSD size 2.5 inches.


As the creators say, inside Define R4 can be used CPU coolers up to 170 cm, power supplies up to 270 cm, and graphics up to 295 or 430 mm (respectively, with basket for the HDD, and without it). Xigmatek Talon is developed in Mid-Tower form-factor, according to the classical design guidelines with a light hint of aggression. Arctic Cooling Intros Two Modifications of Freezer CPU Cooler

Arctic Cooling AG, a well-known Swiss developer of cooling solutions, has recently introduced its newest CPU cooler, Freezer, in two modifications: i11 and A11. Both versions have got tower-like framework, featuring 108x90x130 mm dimensions. The Freezer i11 is compatible with Intel LGA 2011/1156/1155/1150 socket platforms, whereas its companion is intended for AMD Socket FM1, FM2, AM3, AM3+, AM2, and AM2+. To say more, this pair is able to cool down the ‘blaze’ of CPUs with 150 W TDP.



Arctic Freezer i11/A11 consists of an aluminum heatspreader with forty-five plates, three U-shape copper heatpipes, and one 92 mm fan. The heatpipes are thought to support direct contact technology that dramatically improves heat transfer process.
