Thermalright to Release a New Venomous X RT Rev.SB-E Cooler



Less than a week is left till the official launch of a new CPU cooler from Thermalright, codenamed Venomous X RT Rev.SB-E. The product is going to hit the market already on 12 April and will cost around $69. One of the key peculiarities assigned to the novel lies in its universal bracket system that promotes for a hassle-free installation into the majority of present-day platforms: AMD Socket AM2(+), FM2, FM1, AM3(+), as well as Intel Socket 775, 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011.


This tower-type CPU cooler consists of a large heatsink, six heat pipes and a single fan. The heatsink is made of aluminum and has got nickel-plated cooper base. Its dimensions feature 127x60x160 mm. The SilverStone FPS01 Device Returns the Optical Drive Bay into Game

Optical carriers are not popular anymore. Nowadays they are mostly used as license movies carriers, and not as user data storage media. SilverStone offers an alternate variant for those having an unexploitable optical drive of the Slim type.



The new device, called FPS01, is released in two variants, which differ in USB types only: the SST-FPS01 model offers a pair of standard А type ports, and SST-FPS01-C possesses only one С type port. FPS01 is compatible with the standard 12.7 mm Slim ODD optical drive bay and is installed in place of the needless DVD or Blu-ray bay. Shuttle Is Enriching Its Mini PCs Family with the NC03U Model

The Shuttle vendor is widening its product range with the NC03U mini PC, based on the Kaby Lake Intel CPU. To be specific, the novelty can be operated by the 7th generation Intel processors, from Celeron 3865U to Core i7-7500U, which are dual-core (15 W) chips aimed at notebooks and compact PCs.



The Shuttle specialty is able to hold up to 32 GB of DDR4-2133 MHz RAM. One 2.5-inch hard drive and one M.2 SSD drive can be installed for data storage. NC03U is produced without a discrete video card, however, the integrated graphics tech from Intel allows the system to play 4K video at 60 Hz.


This mini PC obtained such ports as HDMI, DisplayPort, RJ45, RS232, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB-C, alongside with wireless interface adaptors and a memory card slot. VESA mountings are also present. The Shuttle product’s dimensions are the following: 142 х 142 х 42 mm.
