Sparkle Computer, a Taiwanese supplier of graphics solutions and consumer electronics, has released two 3D graphics cards simultaneously. The two models have been codenamed Calibre X680 Captain and Calibre X670 Captain. Both cards are based on Nvidia GK104 GPUs developed under 28 nm standards. The chief peculiarity of the products is the integration of extraordinary cooler CoolPro; the uncommonness is seen in the localization of three fans that found their places under the radiator. This radiator is connected with the base, which is in direct touch with GPU, by means of six heat pipes.



Calibre X680 Captain and Calibre X670 Captain are equipped with DisplayPort, DVI, DVI-D, and HDMI video outputs. Recently the MSI Company has added two new graphics cards to its products range. These are the Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 2G OC and the Radeon RX 560 Aero ITX 4G OC models. Having much in common, they differ in the memory volume only.



The MSI cards GPU features the 1,295 MHz boost clock, which is 20 MHz higher comparing to the recommended value. Memory operates at the standard 7,000 MHz frequency.


We should highlight, though, that MSI samples are constructed on the base of short printed-circuit boards of 155 mm length, which allow to install them into compact PC cases. The cooling system is not very complicated. It consists of a modest-sized cooler with an aluminium heatsink and a single fan. MSI specialties do not require additional power supply.
