FSP CMT510 Case – The Elegance of Glass

Introduction

The hero of today’s review is a sophisticated one. The FSP Group Company has a newcomer in the range of their cases - the case CMT510, designed for a motherboard of ATX size. CMT510 has three panels made of tempered glass designed to show off the system inside.

 

The company also underlines the presence of four 120mm fans with full-color LED backlighting. The mounting of the fifth fan is provided. It is possible to install a radiator of the liquid cooling system on the front panel.

 

In the case there are 3D-maps up to 400 mm long. The maximum permissible height of the processor cooling system is 110 mm.

 

The power supply is located separately in the bottom where there is special room for it. The case is designed for two 3.5-inch drives and two 2.5-inch drives. There are USB 3.0, headphone and microphone connectors. The size of the case is 491 x 208 x 448 mm.

 

The customers will give for it about 100 dollars.

 

Zalman Introduces Highly Efficient FX70 Passive Cooler

Zalman, a renowned South Korean designer of various hardware solutions, has recently introduced its latest CPU passive cooler, entitled FX70. The new-entry features 110x140x158 mm dimensions and comes without any fans. However, if there is a need to cool down CPUs with the TDP level higher than 80 W, the customer is free to enhance the facilities by adding two 120 mm fans. The latter are fixed to the heatsink by means of four brackets.



Zalman FX70 is an optimal choice for the following platforms: Intel LGA 2011/1366/115x/775 and AMD FM2/FM1/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+. This cooler fits in any mid-tower ATX and larger PC chassis. The cooler’s framework consists of a copper base, pierced by six nickel-plated heatpipes, and of fifteen heatsink plates with an offbeat design, codenamed Twist; they are called to dramatically improve the process of heat management.
