Plenty of innovative devices were presented at the Computex 2017 exhibition. For instance, the PowerColor Company has demonstrated a new external docking station for a graphics adapter, called Gaming Box. At present only few particulars are known, however, we may suggest, that its set of functions will resemble those ascribed to the original Devil Box.
Surely, PowerColor recommends to use Gaming Box with its own series of Red Devil/Red Dragon Radeon RX 500 family cards, but we should remark, that this novelty is compatible with different graphics accelerators, including such advanced samples as the RX 400/500 series, R9 Fury/Nano series, GTX 10-series, and TITAN Xp. The Thunderbolt 3, 40 Gb/s, connection pairs the enclosure to the host system, for example to your PC or laptop.
