Sapphire Presents New Graphics Card HD 7870 Flex with Dual-X Cooler

Sapphire Technology has officially presented a new model of its graphics card with the implemented unique Flex solution. Codenamed HD 7870 Flex Edition, this card is based on Graphics Core Next architecture developed by AMD. One of the peculiarities observed in this model is the integration of a high-end cooling system Dual-X that is called to ensure efficient cooling down and practically silent work. Dual-X system consists of heat pipes and two fans, the bearings of which accommodate dirt-repellent coverage.



All models of Sapphire Flex series are able to support three DVI monitors in Eyefinity mode and create SLS conditions without the employment of active adapters. Two monitors are connected to the DVI ports, while the third one – to the HDMI to DVI connector. Welcome in MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G Golden Edition Video Card

MSI has finally gladdened its gaming fans with a new ‘golden’ graphics card, entitled GTX 970 Gaming 4G Golden Edition. The model is based on Nvidia’s GM204-200-A1 GPU (Maxwell architecture) with 1644 CUDA cores, 104 TMUs, 64 ROPs, and 13 SMM units. Connection with visual devices might be realized via dual DVI ports, a single HDMI, and one DisplayPort.



Thanks to the support of MSI Gaming App, users are free to select one of the working modes: Silent, Gaming or OC. Each of them is differentiated by nominal and dynamic clock frequencies, Hereby, in Silent mode this adapter runs at 1051 MHz/1178 MHz (nominal/dynamic); Gaming mode provides for 1140 MHz/1279 MHz frequency, while OC allows increasing both indices up to 1165 MHz/1317 MHz correspondingly.


The integrated GPU cooperates with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory (256-bit interface, 224 Gb/sec throughput index). Its nominal clock frequency makes up 1751 MHZ, but its efficient index rises up to 7010 MHz.

The novelty by ADATA – XPG SX7000 – has recently joined the company’s model line of high-speed solid-state drives. This product is performed in the M.2 2280 format and operates on the base of 3D NAND TLC chips and SMI controller. The manufacturer offers four capacity options, namely 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.



The PCI Express 3.0 x4 interface and the NVMe 1.2 specification make ADATA XPG SX7000 highly efficient. It ensures the 1,800 MB/s of reading and 850 MB/s of writing speed. The random performance at 4 KB data handling corresponds to 130,000 and 140,000 IOPS. Thus, these rates are much higher than those of standard HDD and SATA SSD, which provides a perfect system responsiveness, as well as high productivity.


Additionally the ADATA XPG SX7000 SSD features the DRAM memory cache and supports SLC Caching, LDPC ECC, RAID Engine and Data Shaping. The 5-year warranty is supplied.
