BitFenix Nova TG — a Reasonably Priced Mid-Tower Glass-Panelled Chassis

BitFenix, the Taiwan PSU and cases vendor, has announced the launch of a new low-budget Nova chassis version, namely the Nova TG sample. The specialty, made of steel and plastic material, obtained a side panel out of 4 mm tempered glass.



The latest BitFenix case supports Mini-ITX, microATX and ATX motherboards. It offers enough space for seven 280 mm long expansion cards, ATX-compatible power supply unit, as well as a CPU cooling system, which is not more than 160 mm high. The novelty can house three 3.5”, three 2.5” drives, alongside with one 5.25” device.


There are four seats for 120 mm fans, and the supply kit contains two fans (one is LED-lighted). The I/O panel has two USB 3.0 ports and a couple of 3.5 mm audio jacks. Other highlights include the presence of a dust filter, diminishing noise and extending the the power supply lifetime.

Gigabyte Technology is about to come out with a new micro-ATX gaming motherboard. The X99M-Gaming 5 features a promising black-and-red design, an enforced VRM system, and a sophisticated cooling solution. It is powered by Intel X99 chipset compatible with Intel Core i7/Haswell-E processors for socket LGA 2011-3. Heat dissipation process is entrusted to aluminum heatspreaders, joined by a nickel-plated copper heat-pipe.



The motherboard comes equipped with Ultra Durable hardware base, including solid-state capacitors with a prolonged lifespan. Moreover, it boasts advanced tools against short circuit on USB and Ethernet ports as well as against heightened humidity. Memory subsystem is introduced by four DIMM slots for DDR4-2133 modules (up to 32 GB capacity). Expansion facilities are backed by three PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots (the possibility to create 2-way CrossFire and 2-way SLI configurations), and a single PCI Express x1 slot.

EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti

Due to the unknown paparazzi the photos of the upcoming graphics card EVGA GeForce GTX 660 T leaked to the Internet. As it can be seen it is made almost on the reference design of Nvidia.
